TAMARA'S HOUSE FUNDRAISING

Fundraising plays an important role at Tamara's House with respect to service provision and to visibility and participation in our community. The funds raised through the Angel Campaign and through private donations are utilized to help offset the cost of some of these services, along with continued maintenance of the building and infrastructure. The Fundraising Committee oversee all fundraising at Tamara's House, developing and setting priorities for fundraising initiatives for each year. Our Board, Staff, and Volunteers are also involved in fundraising activities.

At times, we have outside sources who would like to fundraise on our behalf. For example, the Greek Hellenic Community held two major fundraisers on behalf of Tamara's House with the involvement of the Board, Director and Staff. Third party fundraising events are a great way to spread awareness about child sexual abuse issues while raising funds to support Tamara's House. Fundraising proposals must be submitted in advance, and approved by the Tamara's House Board and Director.
