Background
In the year 2000, Tamara's House launched a unique fundraising opportunity known as our Angel Campaign to continue to make our services available for survivors. The original goal was to find 2000 Angels who would be willing to give a minimum monthly donation of $10 to Tamara's House. The monthly donation could be conveniently debited directly from a bank account.
Angel Campaign 2006 was launched on June 10th, 2006 with an informational dinner featuring singer-songwriter Susan Aglukark. The Tears for Tamara Dinner was held at the Parktown Hotel and was designed to raise awareness of the work of Tamara's House within the business community and the Saskatoon community in general.
